Randolph County is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Project: Randolph County - Ramseur Main PS Force Main & Tube PS Replacement The award of a contract under this solicitation may be paid with federal funding. Funding is contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of funding award. All prospective contractors and subcontractors shall comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, FEMA requirements, and the terms and conditions of the funding award. In addition, vendors submitting qualifications shall be responsible for complying with state law and local ordinances. The Project includes the following Work: 1 Replacement of existing Tube Pump Station with new submersible Pump Station. Existing Tube Pump Station shall be demolished. 2 Installation of approximately 575 LF of new 12" force main under the Deep River parallel to existing 8" force main. Approximately 425 LF of new force main shall be installed via HDD. Existing 8" force main shall be abandoned in place. Bids are requested for Contract: Randolph County - Ramseur Main PS Force Main & Tube PS Replacement To submit a Bid for the Project, Prospective Bidders are required to register online as a plan holder. With a request for Bidding Documents supply the following information: Company name, contact person with email, street address, and phone numbers; N. C. contractor's license with limitation and classification; indicate if the firm will be a Bidder, Supplier or Sub-Contractor. Obtaining the Bidding Documents: Access to obtain of PDF: Registration and access to the Issuing Office Project Bidding site for Electronic Bidding Documents as PDF files for a fee in the amount of $50.00. This does not include printed copies Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office If Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or online in either electronic or paper format, Bidder must still be registered at online. The designated portal will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from online. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids from qualified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) are encouraged. For further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract.
