Eastern Kentucky University is seeking a qualified partner for the replacement, upgrade, and expansion of the EKU Security Emergency Call Stations across the Richmond, Kentucky campus. Any questions submitted by the deadline will be addressed via Addendum that will be posted within the "Buyer Attachments" tab of this electronic solicitation. This invitation is for Emergency Call Station Upgrade as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary for the complete project including all items as indicated throughout the attached event specifications. Work will begin immediately following an official Award of Contract and Purchase Order from Eastern Kentucky University. A point of contact for EKU Project Management will be provided to the awarded vendor at time of award. Engineering Estimate for this project: $1,400,000.00 This project includes the replacement, upgrade, and expansion of the EKU Security Emergency Call Stations across the Richmond, Kentucky campus. Scope includes power and network connectivity to exterior installed stations. Infrastructure is to be coordinated with existing head-end equipment and power distribution sources. Contractor is to include all labor and materials for a complete system including programming, testing, and coordination with EKU stakeholders. Substantial Completion: One hundred eighty (180) calendar days after start date notated in the written purchase order Final Completion: Two hundred ten (210) calendar days after start date notated in the written purchase order Liquidated Damages: - $200 per day until Substantial Completion - $100 per day until Final Completion Bid bond of 5% is required and must be submitted with bid. Full payment and performance bonds will be required for awarded Contractor.
