Water and Wastewater General Engineering Services. Interested Consultants Must Have the Ability to Show Experience and a Proven Track Record in Projects of Similar Nature and Magnitude. Project Description the City Budgets Approximately $55 Million Annually for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater Distribution System Repairs, Replacement, and Maintenance. The Option to Extend Will Be Exercised Based on the Contractor's Successful Performance, Needs of the City and the Mutual Agreement of Both Parties. During the Term of the Contract, Work Shall Be Conducted Through a Series of Individual Purchase Orders. The Purpose of This Request for Qualifications (Rfq) is to Solicit Responses From Qualified Consultants Interested in Providing Professional Water and Wastewater Engineering Services. Scope of Work the Consultants Will Work Closely With the City Engineering Department, Water Services Department, and Other City Departments and Regulatory Agencies, as Needed. The City Will Utilize the Services of the Consultants for Various Water and Wastewater Services Including, Studies, Assessments, Planning and Management, and Design, Cost Estimating and Construction Administration. The Consultants' Contract Period Will Be for an Initial Term of One (1) Year With an Option to Renew Two (2) One-year Extensions for a Maximum Duration of Three (3) Years. At This Meeting, Staff Will Discuss the Scope of Work, General Contract Issues and Respond to Questions From the Attendees. Because City Staff May Not Have Time to Respond to Individual Inquiries Regarding the Scope Outside of the Pre-submittal Conference, It is Recommended That Interested Firms Have a Representative Attend. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
