Kitchen drain Line was plugged and found to be full of grease. Line was snaked and when the camera was used it found a large void 38 ft from the sink under the living room where the pipe appears to be missing. I am not 100% sure how much of the line has to be excavated or how much can be sleeved. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Point of Contact. Contract term: 30 days after completion of project SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Determine condition of cast iron pipe with camera to determine how invasive repair will be. 1. Expose drainpipe 2. Open drainpipe 3. Run camera down drainpipe to where it goes out of the house to check condition of drainpipe 4. Repair as necessary: A. unplug / replace pipe where it is excavated B. epoxy sleeve pipe from kitchen to bathroom 5. Contractor must block off area excavated per DDSO specs (safety plan) 6. Put soil back in excavation area / tamp / 7. Pour concrete in excavated area / must drill in existing concrete and grout in pieces of rebar before pouring new concrete for stability. Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Final Date for Receipt of Questions: October 2, 2024
