Pleasant Hill Road Bridge Over Taylor Boulevard Preventative Maintenance Project. General work description: The project generally consists of preventative maintenance on the Pleasant Hill Road Bridge over Taylor Boulevard. Work to be done includes but is not limited to placing a polyester concrete overlay on the bridge deck, adding limited slope paving under the bridge, patching spalls on the bridge girders, patching spalls on various bridge substructure locations, replacing approach guardrails, pavement replacement, slurry sealing, and approach roadway striping. Engineer's cost estimate: $1,218,000 Number of Working Days: 60 This is a federal aid contract. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) contract goal is 20%. You must meet this DBE goal and/or provide adequate Good Faith Effort documentation as outlined in these special provisions. To comply with the County DBE Program's Good Faith Effort, the bidder must take certain actions a minimum of fifteen (15) days prior to bid opening. The Public Works Department does not guarantee the arrival of the plans and specifications in time for bidding. For more information about obtaining plans and specifications by online.
