The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide pond excavation service on expanding one (1) existing pond and excavating two (2) new ponds. Certian aspects of the project must be completed in 2024. The remaing project must be completed by or before June 30, 2025. Certain aspects ofthis project must be done in 2024: o Ice Pond portion o Monarch Pond portion o West pond: 2.8 acres ofthe 4 acres down 4" o West pond: 2 acre interior scraped down an additional 1' A private landowner in Corinne, UT, in collaboration with the State of Utah's Watershed Restoration Initiative and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, is seeking qualified and experienced contractors with the ability and equipment necessary to expand an existing pond and excavate new ponds. The contractor must own or be able to obtain the equipment necessary to complete the work as specified below. Project area is 7600 W 6800 N Corinne, UT. The contractor will coordinate with the landowner to expand an existing pond and create two new ponds. Contractor must provide: a scraper/ejector (approx.. 14' width), a slope transit, and a tractor with an offset disc or disc ripper. The disc will facilitate the breakup of 2-3" heavy clay soil for each pass. Contractor will be required to have close communication with the landowner during this work and will be required to have a pre-work conference meeting prior to beginning ground work.
