Project Description: The work will consist of the replacement of existing windows and exterior facade improvements, Phase 1. project scope generally includes removal and replacement of existing windows, removal and replacement of all exterior quarry tile, removal and replacement of certain existing entrances and storefront, refurbishment of existing wooden storefronts and replacement of single-pane glazing with insulated glazing units in the existing wooden storefronts. alternate bids substitute metal panels and mcm panels in lieu of the tile replacement. Bidders submitting an electronic bid will receive an automatic email reply, if they select the box at the bottom that reads: "send me a copy of my responses". Bidders that do not receive an automatic reply must telephone George Bleekman at 541-954-7413 to confirm receipt of the complete emailed document(s) before the Closing Date and Time. Question Deadline 09/27/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Clarifying questions must be submitted to George Bleekman (Owners Representative) via email at bleekman@uoregon.edu A. Work covered by the Project Manual and Drawings consists of renovations at the Earl Hall Complex on the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, Oregon, including but not limited to: 1. Removal of quarry tile cladding, installing quarry tile cladding and/or metal panels and MCM panels; removal of select areas of wood storefront and replacement with aluminum storefront, and complete interior and exterior refurbishment of wood storefront and doors. B. All Contract Work for the project shall be performed between June 18, 2025 and August 29, 2025. Once the Contractor has begun work, it shall be continued uninterrupted and completedin a timely manner .
