The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs is soliciting bids for the Juniper tree removal on approximately 256 acres fee land located in the Pine Creek area of Clarno, Oregon in Wheeler County. The project is federally funded and is subject to Indian Preference and all other applicable federal, state, or tribal laws and regulations. If seeking Indian preference you must provide proof of enrollment into a federally recognized tribe and/or 51% Indian ownership. If no more than one viable bid is received from an Indian contractor, then the project shall be re-solicited to the open public. The anticipated contract timeframe is 15 months from date of contract award. There may be some seasonal restrictions one being May1st through June 30th to avoid disturbance of nesting birds. Access to the work site is open 7 days a week during the operational seasons. The contractor must provide adequate equipment and trained personnel to perform the services. The project estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. There are 4 bid items and there may be multiple awards. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
