The Selected Bidder shall furnish, unless otherwise noted, all necessary permits, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for a functional and complete system ready for intended use. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, all the items described in the Contract Documents, and generally described as the following: The required work includes installation of Public Supply Well 5 in accordance with project standards including the additional piping required to account for the vertical change in elevation, grouting, 24-inch outer surface casing, 16-inch primary steel casing, 12-inch open hole drilling, handling of discharge during well drilling, data collection requirements (lithology, geophysical logging, water quality testing), well development, step drawdown aquifer performance testing, plumbness and alignment test, well disinfection and bacteriological testing, layout, fittings, piping, transition fittings, adaptors, couplings, joint restraints, location wire, filling, flushing, cleaning, pressure testing (including temporary caps/plugs for testing as may be required), and all other improvements as shown on the drawings and included herein in the specifications. Providing all required bonds; insurance; mobilization; preconstruction site photographs and videos; erosion and sedimentation control; temporary facilities; coordination, locating, and notifications with all underground utilities; construction layout and staking; dewatering; clearing for service, abandonment, and restoration; associated sitework, excavations, trench boxing, temporary sheet piles, filling, compaction, grading, landscaping, irrigation repairs, site restoration, and site clean-up; removal and disposal of all associated construction debris; as-built surveys; and demobilization required to accomplish the construction of the public supply well.
