Deadline for Written Questions October 7, 2024 by 5:00 p.m. Reference Number : 0000363400 The City of Milton is requesting bids from qualified parties to provide construction services for the Guardrail Safety Improvements Project in Milton, Georgia. To bid on this contract, the Contractor must be listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation Pre-Qualified Contractors list. All qualified bids will receive consideration without regard to age, handicap, religion, creed or belief, political affiliation, race, color, sex, or national origin. Question Deadline 10/07/2024 at 5:00 PM ET, Questions are submitted online: Yes . Official answers to questions and potential changes to the ITB (Addendums) will be posted at the same web locations as the ITB on or about October 9, 2024. The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton. The selected contractor must be able to start work within ten (10) calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued. The time of completion for the project is to be determined prior to the issuance of the "Notice to Proceed." If weather affects the required completion schedule, The City and selected contractor will negotiate a new completion date. Section 108.08 of the State of Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems (current edition) shall be applied.
