Winthrop Street Sewer Pump Station - Repairs and Upgrades. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. Price to furnish and install all parts, equipment, and services needed to repair and upgrade the Winthrop St. Sewer Pump Station as described below: 1. Stop flow to pumpstation and by-pass pump as needed to perform work. 2. Have septage hauler remove all liquid and debris from tank. 3. Demo and remove two (2) old submersible grinder pumps, pump bases and guide rails. 4. Clean and fully seal the interior of the existing tank. 5. Install new pump bases and guide rails. 6. Install two (2) new Barnes PS submersible grinder pumps (SGVF, 2 HP, Stainless Steel w/NEMA Motor Housing), two (2) new check valves, and new discharge piping. 7. Install new Level Controls. 8. Demo and remove the old control panel. 9. Install new stainless steel control panel and wiring. 10. Start-up and test new pump system. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Procurement Officer via email at dcook@winthropma.gov. The TOWN will use its best efforts to answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids There is no pre-bid conference scheduled for this project.
