2025 Residential Life Dorm Renovations - Surface Refinishing. All work on this Contract is to be completed within 240 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. Completion Date 05/26/25 - 07/31/25. The campus contact is Nicolette Burch (607) 777-3326. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Renovation work to Choconut and Brandywine Dorms, as indicated in the Contract Documents. Multiple contracts will be issued for General Construction (including painting, patching, sheetrock, minor demo) Flooring Contractor for removal of old flooring and replacement of new flooring and base; Surface refinishing of kitchen & bathroom countertops & cabinets, and tub units; Window Shade contract for removal and installation of new window shades. University will also contract through DASNY for the replacement of existing appliances within the units for new
