COMMUNITY CONFERENCE CENTER AV PROJECT Diablo Valley College 321 Golf Club Road, Pleasant Hill, CA 94553 Furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services for the construction of the project entitled DVC-2025-18 Community Conference Center AV Project. License Required: C-7 Low Voltage Scope: In general, the Work consists of, but not limited to, the following: Provide Audio Visual Integration for the Community Conference Room (CCC) located Diablo Valley College, Pleasant Hill Campus at 321 Golf Club Road in Pleasant Hill, CA. The existing system includes a video projection system, display monitors, loudspeakers, touch panel control, equipment rack and podium. The existing system includes surface-mounted cable pathways, electrical, and data provisioning. The room is approximately 27 feet wide x 42 feet long with open ceilings, angled from 10 feet to 18 feet in height. This project is to begin on December 16, 2024 and must be completed by January 14, 2025. The District does not provide hardcopies of bid documents or reimburse cost of printing, delivery, or any expenses related to the bidding process. All questions related to this project must be in writing and are directed to: Rod Herrera, Senior Buyer Contra Costa Community College District 500 Court St., Martinez, CA 94553 Email: rherrera@4cd.edu Each bid shall be made on the BID PROPOSAL FORM (SECTION 00300), which is included in the Bid Documents and when submitted, shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cashier's Check in the amount of 10% of bid (made payable to the Contra Costa Community College District). Last Date and Time for Bidder's Requests for Information: October 2, 2024, 2:00 PM (PST) Hard copies of said Bond or Check must be sent no later than the bid Due Date. It is the bidder's responsibility to show proof that hard copies were sent on time! The District reserves the right to forfeit Bid Bond submitted for failure of the successful bidder to secure Payment and Performance Bonds. Bidder is solely responsible for the District's timely receipt of bidder's bid and any other documents required to be submitted with the bid. In the event of a conflict between any of the details entered on the portal and the uploaded bid document, the details in the uploaded bid document shall prevail. Bidders are required to upload all mandatory bid submission forms. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a labor and material bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bonds to be secured from a surety company acceptable to the Contra Costa Community College District and authorized to execute such surety in the State of California. This project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws. Liquidated Damages shall be set for $500.00 Dollars for each calendar day the work is delayed beyond the Contract Substantial Completion date (January 10, 2025). The Governing Board of the Contra Costa Community College District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality or irregularity in any bid received. No bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for opening thereof.
