For the following material/equipment: Request for Quotation No 115kV Power Circuit Breaker Delta Substation Each bid must be accompanied by proof of bid security which guarantees the amount of five percent of the total amount bid, excluding tax BID AWARD: The District intends to award this Request for Quotation November 19, 2024, subject to change by the District at its sole discretion. The recommendation shall be posted on the District’s website five business days before the award date. It is the bidder’s responsibility to obtain this information at www.snopud.com under the Bids tab. Bid protest procedures and timelines associated with a protest can be obtained from this website. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, excluding tax. Such security shall be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit payable to the District, or a Bid Bond in the form as attached and issued by a corporate surety licensed to do business in the State of Washington. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by such check, letter, or bid bond. The bid security shall be and remain the property of the District as liquidated damages in the event that the successful bidder should fail or refuse to enter into a contract and furnish the required performance security within ten (10) days from the date on which such bidder is notified that it is the successful bidder. PERFORMANCE SECURITY: If so, specified on the Special Provision Sheet, the successful bidder shall provide to the District performance security in the form of a Performance Bond, Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Cashier’s Check or Certified Check in an amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the total amount bid, including tax.
