The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, 2424 Piedmont Road, N.E., Atlanta, Georgia 30324-3330, proposes to advertise for Proposals for Transit Bus Shelters and Advertising. MARTA is seeking Proposals from Firms to install, convert, maintain (including, trash/litter removal) bus shelters and benches in accordance with the terms set forth in the Contract (hereinafter defined). Pre-Proposal Conference: N/A Site Visit: N/A Contractor acknowledges and agrees that it will provide MARTA with a Revenue Bond in an amount equal to One Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars($1,500,000.00) to secure Contractor's obligations (including, without limitation, payment of the MAG) under this Contract. Contractor must provide the Revenue bond on the form attached hereto as Appendix C, which shall remain in place from year to year throughout the Term of this Contract. In all cases, the surety or financial institution must provide MARTA with a new payment bond at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the then current instrument. All potential Proponents are encouraged to participate in the Pre-Proposal Conference, and other project related activities held at the MARTA Headquarters Building. For your convenience, please see the attached "MARTA Headquarters Parking Options", which provides various parking locations available at the Headquarters Building.
