The Project generally consists of the following primary components: Demolition of existing lift station, installation of new sewer lift station and sewer piping, and associated work as shown on the plans. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check or a bank draft drawn on a State or National Bank for five percent (5%) of the amount bid payable to Powder House Pass CID Docs notes : Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office.A $50.00 non-refundable fee is required for plans and specifications for requests outside the state of South Dakota. The Work shall be substantially completed by October 31, 2025 and shall be completed and ready for final payment on or before November 14, 2025. The fair share objective of this project is 1% MBEs and 4% WBEs. A directory of Certified M/WBE firms can be found at this website The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities in the Bids received, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interest of the Owner. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
