Provide Engineering, Surveying, Permitting and Environmental Services The City of Sedro Woolley, Washington, is soliciting interest from consulting firms with expertise in Federal Aid multimodal pedestrian facility project design, construction, documentation, permitting, right of way acquisition and construction services. The City is preparing to begin planning and design efforts for the SR-20Cascade Trail Phase 2A. The project envisions a10-foot wide paved pathway parallel to SR-20together with road and driveway crossings, one creek crossing, pedestrian crossings, drainage, lighting, and appurtenant features. The City intends to select the best qualified engineering consultant or consultant team for this work by October 2024;construction is planned for2027. Each proposal will be reviewed and evaluated by personnel from the City of Sedro-Woolley. Selection of the best candidate(s)will be based upon a point rating system to evaluate the following items: Amount of specialized experience in the type of work required, firm availability/capacity, project understanding, delivery, scheduling, expressed interest and management approach, qualifications of the project team, experience with WSDOT/FHWA standards and process, past performance/references, experience with construction practices, permitting agencies, and utilities.
