The Terminal 3 Drainage project modifies the Terminal 3 Stormwater Drainage System to capture more stormwater and send it to treatment. Work includes but is not limited to installation of trench drain with associated concrete work, connecting the installed trench drain to the storm drain system, extruded curb, and one HMA speed bump. Questions are due via Electronically by Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2:00pm. Engineer's Estimate - $75,000 - $100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The PORT OF VANCOUVER reserves the right to cancel this request or reject any and all quotations received or to waive any informalities and irregularities if in the best interest of the Port. The PORT OF VANCOUVER obtains quotations for public works costing $40,000.01 or more, but less than $350,000. If the items are over $350,000, the formal bid process must be followed. The bid bond, or acceptable form is to be executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in Washington, unless the bid is accompanied by a cashier's check. No such bid bond will be required where a cashier's check is submitted in lieu of a bond. The amount of the bond or cashier's check shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid and may be shown in dollars or on a percentage basis. If a surety company form is submitted, please attach the form to the Bid Documents submitted. Failure to comply with this provision will render the bid non-responsive and therefore void. This shall be executed by the successful bidder and a surety company, licensed to do business the State of Washington, on the required Port of Vancouver form within, within ten (10) days after the award date. Pursuant to RCW 39.08.010, the contractor may, in lieu of a performance and payment bond, choose to have ten (10) percent in retainage withheld during the course of the contract if the project cost is less than $150,000. The project shall be physically completed by December 13, 2024. The Terminal 3 Drainage Project - Modifies Terminal 3 Stormwater Drainage System to capture more stormwater and send it to treatment. Work includes but is not limited to installation of trench drain with associated concrete work, connecting the installed trench drain to the storm drain system, extruded curb, and one HMA speed bump. Work shall be completed in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.
