Tall) and all related appurtenances; Remove and replace existing Ground Storage Tank No. 1 interior ladder and re-secure existing safety climb, including surface preparation, welding, re-coating, and replacement of stainless steel bolts and appurtenances; Remove and replace existing Ground Storage Tank No. 1 roof vents and flanges including riser from roof, including surface preparation, welding, re-coating, and replacement of stainless steel bolts and screens; Remove and replace existing Ground Storage Tank No. 1 overflow weir box, including surface preparation, welding, re-coating, and replacement of stainless steel bolts and appurtenances; Remove and replace cathodic protection inspection hole covers, including surface preparation and re-coating. The deadline to ask questions is 9/25/2024 2:00 PM CST. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing online. Questions will be received up to 72 hours prior to the time and date for opening of Bids. Addenda, if issued, will be provided 48 hours prior to the time and date for opening bids. A Bid must be accompanied by a Bid security made payable to Owner. The Bid security required is an amount of 10% if the Bidder's maximum Bid price is less than $250,000. The Bid security required is an amount of 5% if the Bidder's maximum Bid price is $250,000 or more. The Bid security shall be in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Articles 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. CASHIER CHECKS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all PROPOSALS and to waive irregularities in the bidding. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in the PROPOSAL, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof or to reject the PROPOSAL.
