Furnishing all supervision, materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the construction of the following described project Kelley Building Renovation The scope of work shall consist of two separate operations including but not limited to the following: Work consists of remodeling and renovation of 5,600 square feet of existing building and constructing new stair and elevator. Most construction trades are required including excavation/earthwork, concrete, masonry, wood framing, miscellaneous metal fabrications, waterproofing, roofing, interior improvements (doors, finishes), elevator, HVAC, plumbing and electrical. The check should be made out to the City of Chattanooga and mailed to the City of Chattanooga Purchasing Department, 101 East 11th Street, Suite G13, Chattanooga, TN37402. Prior to mailing the check you can scan and email a copy to bidinfo@chattanooga.gov. Once the email has been received with a copy of the check the requested bid documents will be emailed. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. Visit online for specific contract information. The City of Chattanooga (the "City) strongly encourages prime contractors to employ diverse businesses in the fulfillment of contracts/projects for the City of Chattanooga. While the City cannot engage (pursuant to T.C.A. 6-56-304 and T.C.A. 12-3-1212) in preferential bidding practices, the City does strongly encourage prime contractors to seek out and hirediverse businesses in order to help the City meet its goals as stated above.
