The scope of work consists of using C channel steel as an accent material to create an emphasis at three entry points in the Statehouse Convention Center Governor's Hall. In addition to the C Channel steel, there will be new lay in ceiling tiles, lighting upgrades, wall mounted bottle fillers and necessary paint upgrades. In select locations inside the Governor's Hall lay in ceiling tile and grid will need to be replaced. Replacement of doors and door hard ware will be required at all metal doors throughout the Governor's Hall. Five structural beams in hall IV will be scraped and repainted with intumescent paint. All bidders shall conform to the requirements of Arkansas Code Annotated 17-25-101, Arkansas Contractors Licensing Law for Contractors. All contractors must be licensed on the day of the bid submittal. According to the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board, this project will require a contractor's license. There shall be only one bid submitted per State Contractors license. Bidders will be required to indicate license number on bid form beneath signature when bidding $20,000.00or more. Bid security is required in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check drawn upon a bank or trust company doing business in Arkansas, in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau. Arkansas Statutory Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract. This invitation does not commit the Owner to pay any cost incurred in the preparation of bids. The Commission reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed to serve the best interest of the Little Rock Advertising and Promotion Commission.
