The intent of this Bid call is to obtain an offer to perform work on a stipulated price basis in accordance with the contract documents to complete the following boiler replacement work at the City of Yorkton's Water Pollution Control Plant: - Phase 1: Removal and replacement of existing 3,500,000 BTU Cleaver Brooks fire tube boiler (boiler 647) with two (2) - 2,000,000 BTU water tube boilers, complete with ancillary equipment including but not limited to pumps, full flow filters, valves, venting and tie-ins to the existing system located in Area 600. - Phase 2: Removal of existing 3,500,000 BTU Cleaver Brooks fire tube boiler (boiler 648) and addition of one (1) - 2,000,000 BTU water tube boiler, complete with ancillary equipment including but not limited to pumps, valves, venting, and modification of phase 1 piping to accommodate addition of heat exchanger, and expansion tank located in Area 600. As well as removal and replacement of indirect fired rooftop unit (HV-351) located outside of Area 300. The intent of phase 1 scope of work is to provide the WPCP with an interim redundant heating system solution for the /25 heating season. The intent of phase 2 scope of work is to provide the WPCP with a reliable temporary heating system solution to accommodate continued operation of the WPCP until the time of which the City completes the new Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade. The City may or may not select to proceed with this scope of work depending on budget.
