High Voltage Electrical Services Houston ISD is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced high-voltage electrical contractors for the repair, maintenance, and potential upgrade of high-voltage electrical systems (voltage of 480 and above) within the district. This project is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our electrical infrastructure, which supports the day-to-day operations of multiple education facilities. Houston ISD will engage the contractor(s) based on Houston ISD's needs. Houston ISD may make multiple awards and engage in contract(s) as needed with multiple vendors to meet client and division needs. The intent of this request is to establish a list of pre-approved companies or individuals that can provide services to the District. Given the strategic importance of maintaining a reliable and safe electrical infrastructure, this project request is for designed to seek vendors that can address 480 volts and greater. Vendors will need to have specialized training and certifications specific to high-voltage work. Must be knowledgeable about high voltage safety standards, practices, and regulations. The tentative term of this Project is from December 13, 2024, through December 12, 2025, with two (2) automatic annual renewals, not to extend beyond December 12, 2027.
