North Market Fire Alarm Upgrade BID BOND Each bid shall contain a bid bond to ensure if the bid is accepted a contract shall be executed. The resulting contract shall require a performance and payment bond. The bid bond amount shall be equal to or exceed ten percent (10%) of this total amount. BID CANCELLATIONS AND REJECTIONS The City may cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City and when in the best interest of the City. The City shall have 180 calendar days from the date of the bid opening to provide the bidder a Notice of Award. During this 180- day period, the bidder agrees to hold their bid prices. All work shall be substantially complete within 100 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed.
