West End Sanitary Sewer Replacement The project is located within the Sunny Acres development of Riverside Borough, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania and generally consists of construction of approximately 4,385 L.F. of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer in borough roadway and permanent sewer easements, 16 precast concrete manholes, 5 connections to existing manholes, approximately 54 sewer lateral stubs and cleanouts connecting to existing sewer laterals, decommission of approximately 63 existing sanitary septic and pump tanks, installation of 9 grinder pump stations, and other appurtenances and work as specified and indicated on the Construction Drawings. This project with replace small diameter sewers with residential septic tanks that flow north to an 8-inch diameter public sewer system. Start of construction will begin in the Spring of 2025 and be completed by the Fall of 2025. Question Deadline 10/04/2024 at 4:00 PM ET All bids are to be submitted on the Bid Forms contained in the online website. A 10% Bid Bond or a 10% Certified Bank Check must be submitted with the bid. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable equal opportunity laws and regulations and compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate Act. Riverside Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality or bidding irregularities, to delete or reduce any bid item, and to award the contract as may be deemed to be in their best interest. No Bidder may withdraw his or her bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof.
