FY2025 Water Main Replacements at Harriet Ave, Dawson Circle, Oak Street Easement, Oak Street Extension, South Street, Alice Ave (alt), and Ruthen Circle (alt), in the Town of Shrewsbury. The Town reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any, any part of, or all responses in the best interest of the Town. for the installation of approximately 4360 linear feet of 6-inch CLDI class 52 pipe, 2550 linear feet of 8-inch CLDI Class 52 pipe, approximately 20 linear feet of 6-inch C909 PVC class 235 pipe, approximately 1520 linear feet of 8-inch C909 PVC class 235 pipe, approximately 460 linear feet of 12-inch CLDI class 52 pipe, and all associated appurtenances. Approximately (104) 1" PE lateral service reconnections, (11) main reconnection and (13) new hydrants. . Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) policies of the Town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts are applicable to this contract. The goal for this project is a minimum of five (5) percent MBE participation and five (5) percent WBE participation by State-certified MBEs and WBEs. Question Deadline 09/26/2024 All questions by prospective bidders as to the interpretation of the Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, or Bonds must be submitted in writing to the Town Engineer at the Municipal Office Building, Shrewsbury, at least Four (4) business days before the date herein set for the opening of bids. The Engineer will then via addenda, to the prospective bidders at the email addresses given by them, not less than Three (3) business days before said date, his interpretations of all questions so raised, which in his opinion require interpretation.
