SCOPE OF WORK 1. Remove and replace carpet in the hallways of the building (approximately 922 sq. ft.). Include additional quotes for replacing the carpet in the conference room (approximately an additional 479 sq. ft.) and all of the offices (approximately an additional 1520 sq. ft.). Note that these two latter locations would require breakdown and reassembly of the conference room table and the office furniture. 2. Remove wallpaper in conference room and entryway, repair walls as needed, and paint (approximately 1023 sq. ft.). 3. Repair cracks in hallway and lab walls, and paint repaired areas to match current paint. Include quote to repaint the entire lab. 4. Replace damaged ceiling tiles in the conference room and the lab. 5. Replace light fixtures throughout the building with ones that will accept LED lights. NOTE: The current lights are on a 480 V circuit and consist of 53 2' by 4' fluorescent fixtures with three bulbs each, and 34 compact fluorescent dome lights. 6. Repaint blue stripe around upper outside portion of the building. 7. Incorporate 4' diameter metal NASA "meatball" logo on the northern end of the front of the building or on a freestanding concrete support near the northwestern corner of the building. 8. Paint the exterior of three doors to match the blue stripe on the building. Replace the weather seal on the glass doors on the front of the building. Quotes for the item(s) described in the RFQ are due by 9/18/2024 by 1 p.m. CT to Cara Craft at cara.s.craftnasa.gov in order to be considered for award. If it is in the best interest of the Government, quotes submitted after the due date may be accepted. Quotes shall remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise expressly stated on the quote. Submitted Quotes shall list two points of contacts including name, phone number, and email address. All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail) to Cara Craft at cara.s.craftnasa.gov no later than 9/17/2024 by 1 p.m. CT. Telephone questions shall not be accepted. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE NASA North Texas Research Station 13800 FAA Blvd Fort Worth, TX 76155 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Installation shall be performed immediately after awarded date.
