Bid will accept sealed bids from qualified vendors to perform asbestos containing material abatement at the McLean County Fairview Building located at 905 N. Main Street, Normal IL. This project includes but is not limited to the following: o Lawful removal and disposal of all building interior materials that have tested positive for asbestos containing materials. o Lawful removal and disposal of all abated materials. o Signage at each door instructing any visitors that asbestos abatement is currently being conducted. o Provide any and all required PPE for the project. Note: HVAC is inoperable in the building. o Provide all materials required for abatement and area separation of spaces. o Provide any air clearance required after friable removal and provide clearance documentation to the owner. o Provide and remove upon completion a lockable dumpster for abated materials. o Provide a temporary toilet for contractor use. Plumbing is currently shutoff and restroom facilities cannot be used. Water can be provided from an adjacent building. Hose connection is approximately 150 feet away. Water hose(s) to be provided by the awarded contractor. o Clean up of construction/abatement debris on a daily basis. o Full clean up of all abatement materials and tools upon project completion. o Provide all required documentation to the owner upon completion of the project. o Provide documentation showing the awarded contractor is a Licensed Abatement Removal Contractor for the State of Illinois before work begins.
