The work to be done consists, in general, of the construction of an approximately sixty-acre recharge basin and stockpile area at the site including basin excavation, compacted stockpile placement, placement of excess basin material, conveyance channel excavation, cast-inplace and precast concrete structures, furnishing and installing slides gates, propeller meters, rubber gasketed reinforced concrete pipe (RGRCP), County road crossing, and all other miscellaneous items to complete the work described in the Plans and Specifications to provide for a fully functioning recharge basin. This preliminary notice is being sent out with the intent of giving prior notice to Contractors due to the short advertising and award window. Award Date November 5, 2024 The engineer's estimate range is $6,900,000 - $7,700,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Any questions received after this deadline will not receive a response unless the Department of Public Works and Planning elects to issue an addendum to revise the bid opening date. In the event that the bid opening date is revised, the deadline for questions will be extended to no later than 2:00 P.M. on the seventh (7th) calendar day before the revised bid opening date.
