PROJECT INFORMATION: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. The State of Indiana Law and regulations shall govern submittal, opening, and award of bids. Project Identification: Tri-Central Community Schools Concession Building & Locker Room Project Location: 2115 W. 500 N., Sharpsville, IN 46068 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Phase 1 consists a new one-story rectangular concrete block concessions building with heat and minimal air conditioning. The building will measure approximately 4,300 square feet and be divided into a concession area, men s and women s restrooms with multiple stalls for spectator use, one unisex restroom, official s locker room, and a large storage area. A small mechanical room is also anticipated. The concessions area will include a stainless-steel countertop and sink and house a hot dog machine, popcorn machine, microwave, separate refrigerator and freezer, large upright cooler, and hot water heater. The exterior of the building is anticipated to be constructed of masonry wainscoting and masonry or metal siding. Phase 2 consists of a complete renovation of the existing one-story former concession/locker room building. The reconfigured new space will include a visitor s locker room, a home team locker room, training room, team meeting room, laundry room with uniform storage, two coach s offices with private restrooms, and two team restrooms connected to their respective shower rooms. The building renovation will include new interior masonry walls, a new visitor team entrance, a new home team entrance, and additional exits on each end of the building. COST RANGE: Anticipated to be under $2,000,000 Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: General Contract (all trades). PROJECT SCHEDULE: Start date is anticipated to be November 4, 2024 with completion date for both phases by July 25, 2025. All those requesting Bidding Documents must submit the following information: Company Name, Company Address, Name of Contact Person, Phone No., including extension and email address. This information will be used to make the Plan Holders List. The Plan Holders List is used to send out addendum information. All electronic documents will be sent as PDFs only. Viewing Plans and Project Specifications: Examine after September 11, 2024, at these locations: KJG Architecture, Inc., 527 Sagamore Pkwy W, West Lafayette, IN 47906, Construction Network, and Construct Connect TIME OF COMPLETION: Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work for both phases within the Contract Time. Substantial completion of the work shall be attained no later than 3:00 p.m. local time on July 25th, 2025. BID SECURITY: Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS: Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
