This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is in accordance with the AF Carpet II Program. All potential vendors must be in compliance with the AF Carpet II Program. All Tier II bidders (Carpet Installers or Local Dealers with Installers) must contact Tier I Contractors for material quotes and orders. Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is anticipated to be awarded by Friday, 27 September 2024. Potential vendors that wish to participate in the optional site visit must submit required identification for each person attending by 1:00 PM (PDT) Thursday 12 September 2024. See DAFFARS 5352.242-9000 for acceptable forms of identification. The optional site visit, if requested, will be held at 11:00 AM (PDT) Wednesday 18 September 2024. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-05 and DFARS Change 08/15/2024. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 314110, and the applicable PSC is 7220. This acquisition will be made as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, with a size standard of 1,500 Employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating program does not apply. This RFQ is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the United States Air Force. The Government is NOT liable for any costs and/or activity associated with providing a response to this announcement. Any costs incurred as a result of a response to this announcement shall be borne by the firm and will not be charged to the government for reimbursement. The Government reserves the right to award some or all of the line items represented herein. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse for costs associated with providing a quote.
