GENERAL STATEMENT AND EXTENT OF WORK All proposed Work for the Credit Union Drive Sewer Rehabilitation Project is located in Anchorage, Alaska, as shown on the Drawings. The Work included in this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the Work set forth in the Plans, and Specifications, and terms of the Contract successfully. The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract consists of the Contractor to furnish and install approximately 658 linear feet of 8-inch PVC, C900 sewer main, 92 linear feet of 6-inch PVC, C900 sewer service connection, abandon in place by grouting 330 linear feet of existing 8" DI sewer main, remove and dispose of 453 linear feet of existing 8" DI sewer main, remove and dispose 6 existing SSMH's, construct 7 new Type A, SSMH's. Additionally, the Work includes but is not limited to trench dewatering, a temporary sewer bypass system, topsoil and seeding, and the restoration of all affected streets. It shall be the responsibility of the bidder to prepare the bid so that all materials and working arrangements harmoniously conform to the intent of the Contract Specifications and Special Provisions.
