2024 Street Repairs Project In general, the Project consists of asphalt repairs, including Full Depth Reclamation (FDR); Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving; striping; curb ramp reconstructions; temporary traffic control; and related items of work as shown on the Plans, as specified in the Standard Specifications and these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer. Contract time is established as 20 working days for Station Way, and 80 working days for the Rancho Phase I, Brighton, and Stagecoach neighborhoods. These are concurrent working days. Contractor may perform work in these areas at the same time. Additionally, Contractor shall note that work on Station Way must be completed by March 2025. Each bid shall be accompanied by either a: 1. certified check 2. cashier's check 3. bidder's bond made payable to the City of Arroyo Grande for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount as a guaranty. Guaranty shall be forfeited to the City Arroyo Grande if the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fails to enter into the contract. The City of Arroyo Grande reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any informality in a bid.
