Pasqualone Boulevard Drainage Improvements Project. Bids will have a tentative award date of October 14, 2024. ) Question Deadline 09/27/2024 at 3:00 PM ET All questions shall be submitted online. There will be no pre-bid meeting. The scope of work generally includes drainage improvements, earthwork, paving, concrete curbing and associated items of work. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Bensalem Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms acceptable to Bensalem Township. No requirement in this Article 3 to submit information will prejudice the right of Owner to seek additional pertinent information regarding Bidderis qualifications. Award of the Contract, if the contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by Bensalem Township. The Township reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in the bidding, as permitted by law, and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Township in its sole and absolute discretion. All bidders must complete the Bidder Qualifications form and the Contractor & Subcontractor Responsibility Certification form. This contract is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract documents.
