Company Contact Louisville Water Company DeLisa Campbell Location Louisville, Kentucky Brief Scope: Louisville Water Company is requesting Bids providing all labor, rigging, tools, equipment, and materials to Fabricate and Construct 3,000,000 gallon (3 million gallon) AWWA D107 Composite Elevated Water Storage Tank, Furnish and Install 1,430+/- linear feet of 36"- inch water main (restrained) including 55 +/- linear feet of 60" steel casing pipe; Furnish and Install 30+/- linear feet of 16-inch water main (restrained); Furnish and Install 900+/- linear feet of asphalt access drive plus tank pad with curb and gutter; Furnish and Install EPSC, Storm Piping and Structures; Furnish and Install Electric Service, Instrumentation, and Controls; Furnish and Install chain link fence around perimeter of tank pad; Furnish and Install four retaining walls, and landscape/restore the site, and other site improvements, accessories, and appurtenances as described in the documents. Questions or inquiries relating to this project must be submitted through the Louisville Water Company web-based portal by the date and time indicated for this bid. The Company's Project Manager's estimate for the Contract plus Company supplied materials for this Project is $10,000,001 - $25,000,000. If the Company's Project Manager's estimate for the Contract plus Company supplied materials exceeds $250,000: a Bid Bond is required. For this Contract, a Bid Bond is required. Bids will only be accepted from Bidders who have been pre-qualified by the Company in the prequalification category or categories that apply to this Bid. This Bid requires prequalification in Heavy Construction - UG Vault / PRV & Water Tank Construction. For information about pre-qualification, contact the Buyer listed above. The Company will award the Contract to the Bidder presenting a Bid that is responsive to the Specifications, is in substantial compliance with the Contract requirements, and presents the lowest and best price for performing the Work making up the base bid and or Bid that Company determines is in the Company's best interest, which may not necessarily be the least expensive Bid Company Small Business Equity (SBE) Program Preference and Local Preference Program applies to this bid and resultant bid award. SBE Program Preference shall apply first. Bid Documents are also available for review at the following locations: Allied Construction Plan Room, Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and Builders Exchange of Kentucky. All recipients of the Bid Documents are required to sign a planholder sheet confirming receipt.
