Cortland Vac Truck Building project Each proposal shall contain the full name and address of the party or parties making the proposal and all persons interested therein, and shall be accompanied by either a Proposal Bond signed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount bid, or by a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit revocable only by the City of Cortland equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured by a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract in accordance with the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. No proposal will be entertained unless made on the Contract Documents obtained from the architect and with an attached bond document. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregulars in the bid received, and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the City at the time and under the conditions stipulated. Award will be made to the "lowest and best bidder" in accordance with the provisions of the Award of Contract. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the party preparing the bid package Question Deadline 09/20/2024 No bidder may withdraw his bi d for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of opening bids. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
