The Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C) is the strategic force to provide the State's entities with a catalog of Statewide Term Contracts (STC) that provide for an encompassing organized and efficient manner to pool resources to provide goods and services. The State through the Department of Administration (DOA) Division of Purchase & Contract (P&C) is seeking qualified vendors to establish a Statewide Term Contract to furnish and deliver a comprehensive, multiple manufacturer product line of new, unused, currently produced air filters - HVAC in four (4) categories throughout the State of North Carolina, on an "As Needed" basis, if and when ordered by State Departments, Agencies, and Higher Education Institutions during the contract period in the following categories.. o Category A o Category B o Category C Ratings o Category D Type I - Replaceable panel filters (disposable types) to include all styles and MERV ratings Type II - Pleated panel filters to include all styles and MERV ratings Type III - Extended surface non-supported filters (bag or pocket type) to include all styles and MERV Type IV - Extended surface filters - rigid type suitable for variable air volume (VAV) systems to include all styles and MERV ratings The intent of this Invitation for Bid (hereinafter, "IFB") is to receive pricing from Vendors which will offer savings to the State and confirm, through Vendors' submission of bids, its ability to meet the State's needs. The contract resulting from this IFB is mandatory for State departments and most State Agencies, and by State higher education institutions (except under the conditions specified in G.S. 115D-58.14(a) and G.S. 116-13). The Contract may also be utilized, without further competition, by non-mandatory State Agencies and Other Eligible Entities.
