General and Building Contractors for the renovations and remodel at 1700 North State Road 19, Palatka, Florida 32177. Base Bid: The Scope of Work includes the renovation and remodel of 1700 North State Road 19, Palatka, Florida 32177. The 2,400 square foot building will be renovated / remodeled into a joint facility for the Putnam County Board of County Commissioners and the Putnam County Sheriffs Office. Vendor must indicate the Bid Number and Description of Bid on the outside of the envelope (package). Deadline for receipt of sealed bids has been set for 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 10, 2024. Send, or deliver in person, 1 original, 1 copy, and 1 electronic copy (USB drive) of the sealed bids to Putnam County Procurement Department, 2509 Crill Ave, Suite 200, Palatka, FL 32177. Only sealed bids received on, or before, the aforestated time and date will be considered. The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Putnam County complies with all federal statutes relating to non-discrimination. Putnam County is an equal opportunity employer. Failure to follow the Bid Protest procedures prescribed by the Putnam County Purchasing Ordinance shall constitute a waiver of your protest and any resulting claims. The Scope of Work for Building 2 will reconfigure two of the five bathrooms into storage rooms while the remaining bathrooms will receive ADA updates. In five of the patients rooms, closet doors will be removed, and new shelving will be installed. The majority of the building will receive modernized LVT flooring and vinyl base. The kitchen will be upgraded with new base cabinets and countertops. In the dispensary office, lockable cabinets will be added along with a passthrough door for dispensing medication. At the nurses station, an existing window and door will be removed. Both front and back porches will be updated. Gypsum wallboard will be provided on the front screened porch, and the back porch will be reroofed and receive upgrades of new flooring, drywall/insulation, painting, and baseboards. New fencing for the back portion of the campus is also integrated into the scope of work.
