The City of St. Peters is seeking quotes for a generator and electrical study to determine the available load on the existing generator and assist with determining areas of the existing building to be placed on emergency backup power. The last day for questions is noon local time on Friday, September 13, 2024. Bidder hereby agrees to commence work under this contract on or after a date to be specified in a written "NOTICE TO PROCEED" of the owner and to fully complete the project with in 100 calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $150.00 a day will apply. The City of St. Peters is seeking quotes from qualified electrical contractors to conduct an active load and capacity study. The Justice Center facility was built in 2010 and is approximately 65,000 square feet. This facility houses a variety of municipal services including 911 police dispatch, municipal police, park rangers, municipal courts, holding facilities and a range of City Board meetings. This facility is currently equipped with a 500 kW backup generator to ensure 24/7 operation with no utility interruption. At this time the active load on the generator is unknown and the generator is believed to be under-utilized. The City of St. Peters is seeking a qualified contractor to determine the current utilized load, and remaining generator capacity. The Justice Center is an active facility with personal utilizing many components of the building at all hours of the day. This building is a secured facility with many portions needing security clearances. Personnel working within the facility will need security escorts. The City of St. Peters may include and/or exclude any and all optional items recommended by the bidder. The City reserves the right to waive informalities and to accept the bid most advantageous to the City of St. Peters.
