Replace old existing non-working "wall heaters and A/C units in the White Mtn Prevention and Battalion Chiefs Offices on the Inyo National Forest. SCOPE OF CONTRACT The Forest Service is seeking the services of a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Contractor to install a new heat pump system at the Fire Prevention/Patrol building, in Bishop. The building has an area of approximately nine hundred square feet (900 ft2 ), partitioned into four (4) main areas. The building currently does not have functioning HVAC units except for wall heaters. PROJECT LOCATION Inyo National Forest White Mt Ranger Station Compound 351 Pacu Lane Suite 200, Bishop, CA 93514 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Less than $25,000 The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 30 days. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. Questions pertaining to this solicitation shall be submitted via email to bob.eberleusda.gov no later than 1400 MDT 11 Sept 2024.
