The City of Oroville Housing Development Department is seeking a qualified contractor to participate in the renovation and remodel a portion of a housing rehabilitation project for a residential home located at 1399 Norton St in Oroville CA. NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN City of Oroville Housing Development Department is soliciting a Formal Bid Write-Up for General Contractor for a Best Value, Fixed Price. This write-up is part of a single-phase competitive process for the selection to complete construction of the Project. The project under this Formal Bid-Write-Up is the replacement of an approximately 900sf home. Additionally all work associated with a supplemental pest report identifying additional work. All other work as requested in the project description in the Bid-Write Up documents. Qualifying contractors to verify all work at the Mandatory Job Walk. Do not contact home owner prior to submitting the formal Bid Write-Up to the Housing Development team. Contractor requirements: Current and active CA Contractors license in good standing and $1,000,000 general liability insurance naming the City of Oroville as additionally insured. Registration with online. The City of Oroville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material defects in any submitted bids. Qualifying contractors must attend mandatory job walk to submit a bid for the job. Bid Write-Up and related bid documents can be obtained by emailing City of Orovilles Housing Development - Program Analyst - Kaitlyn Lorson, at klorson@cityoforoville.org or Nick Trover, Project Manager, at nicktrover@trovercpm.com. No other staff or representative of City of Oroville should be contacted. Please refer all questions to either Kaitlyn or Nick Trover All work associated with the replacement of the roof on an approximately 900 sf residence. All work as identified in included pest report; including all locations of noted dry rot or fungus damage. Work to include painting of any replaced surface to match existing conditions. Additionally contractor to provide a line item as an alternate for installation of gutters and downspouts on the unit.
