A new building consisting of a 2,600 square foot main level with 600 square foot storage mezzanine. The building is designed with structural steel framing, insulated precast wall panels, insulated metal and translucent wall panels, and a standing seam metal roof. A concrete hollow core slab is used for the floor of the mezzanine and works to create a non-FEMA rated storm shelter for the rooms below. Interior construction and finishes consist of CMU, concrete, acoustic ceilings and paint. Mechanically, gas-fired furnaces and an AC system will be utilized to heat and cool the rooms under the mezzanine while the work bays will be heated with radiant in-floor heating system.
