The project is for the construction of a 0.34-mile walking trail from approximately N 22nd Street to the Coleman Park parking lot situated in the City of Lebanon, Lebanon County, PA. Work will also involve the installation of E&S controls. Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 9:00 AM ET Location online portal. Each proposal must be accompanied by a copy of a certified check or bid bond payable to "City of Lebanon", in an amount not less than Ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Notice is given that the project for which Bids are being solicited hereby is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, the Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987, as amended and supplemented, and appropriate prevailing minimum wage rates as promulgated under the provisions of said Act must be paid by contractors in connection with performance of the necessary work. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The contractor must familiarize themselves with the site prior to submitting a bid. The Sponsor reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Sponsor. If a bid proposal contains missing information, the Sponsor reserves the right to request additional information be submitted prior to award. All work shall be in conformance with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Publication 408, dated 2020 Change 8, and the Contract Specifications. Pre-qualification of bidders, as specified in Section 102.01 of Publication 408, is NOT required on this project.
