The project consists of all major items associated with crack sealing including but not limited to cleaning and sealing cracks throughout the City, including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the Work. MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Crack Sealing, for the project with an allowance of $200,000.00 will be required. Question Deadline 09/16/2024 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the City Engineer. The City Engineer will answer such requests if received no later than five (5) business days, Every request for such interpretation shall be made in writing addressed to City Engineer - Contract ED 2024-05 Project: Crack Sealing at Various Locations, City of Marlborough, Department of Public Works, Engineering Division, 135 Neil Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 or emailed a Bid Security in the form of cash, or a certified check, treasurer's, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to the Owner must be submitted with a completed Cash Bid Bond Affidavit form and received by the Owner before the time of bidding. The City reserves the right to cancel this procurement process, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if the City determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the public to do so. This legal notice shall also be posted by the Metro West Daily News on the Massachusetts Newspaper Publishers Association's (MNPA) website (masspublicnotices.org). C
