The City of North Miami Beach, Florida ("City") is seeking a qualified firm(s) ("CONTRACTOR") to submit a bid for the "Washington Park Pump Station & Force Main Project - Park1912" as outlined in Section 3.2 Scope of Services, technical specifications, drawings and all addenda issued prior to the closing of the bid. Q & A deadline: Sep 25, 2024 3:00:00 PM EDT PRE-BID & SITE VISIT TO BE SCHEDULED AND NOTICED VIA ADDENDUM -. It is recommended that all interested proposers visit the site at their own leisure. It will be the sole responsibility of the bidder to be familiar with the scope of the City's requirements and systems prior to submitting a bid. No variation in price or conditions shall be permitted based upon a claim of ignorance. Submission of a bid will be considered evidence that the proposer has familiarized themselves with the nature and extent of the work, equipment, materials, and labor required. The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and , including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the CONTRACTOR as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the CITY. 1. Pump Station and Gravity System: Installation of a new pump station located at the intersection of NE 152 Terrace and NE 14 Court, including installation of precast wet well and valve vault structures, excavation, sheeting and shoring (if required), installation of pumping units, discharge piping; electrical and instrumentation work; manholes and gravity mains; startup and testing, site restoration and maintenance of traffic. 2. Force Main: Installation of approximately 5,825 linear feet of 10-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) force main, including but not limited to all pipe, fittings, valves and appurtenances necessary for this new segment of force main which commences at the pump station at NE 152 Terrace and runs west on 152 Terrace, then north on NE 14 Avenue, east on NE 160 Street, north on NE 15 Avenue, east on NE 161 Street, north on NE 17 Street and west on NE 162 Street.
