The City of Redwood City is soliciting bids from qualified and licensed firms to provide water pump preventative maintenance and on-call repair services to the Public Works Services Department. All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the bid. The awarded contract will be for one (1) year period, with the option to renew for two additional two-year terms at the discretion and approval of the City. The City is soliciting Contractors experienced in pump maintenance and repair to maintain and repair the City's water and recycled water pumps, motors and related apparatuses. The selected Contractor will be expected to service approximately 36 pumps and motors located at 11 pump stations. Service will include, but is not limited to: o Pump, electric motor, and motor control center inspections, o Removal and installation of pumps/motors and related parts, o Transport and delivery of pumps/motors, o Repair and/or replacement of pumps/motors and related parts, o Providing detailed maintenance and repair reports, o Providing recommendations for equipment upgrades or improvements.
