Preconstruction Services for Hardy Elementary School Whole Site Modernization (LLB). Project: Hardy Elementary School Phase 1 Site Modernization, Interim Housing, Phase 2 Site Modernization, and Joint-Use Field. 1. The Phase 1 Site Modernization and Interim Housing of Hardy Elementary School will include: i. The removal of (10) portable classroom buildings, one classroom building, and one lunch shelter. ii. New construction of a permanent kitchen building and lunch shelter. iii. New construction of (11) temporary portable classroom buildings and (1) portable restroom building. iv. Site work including a new parking and drop-off plaza, (2) new playgrounds, new hardcourts, new turf play area, a new fire access lane and path of travel upgrades throughout campus. 2. The Phase 2 Site Modernization of Hardy Elementary School will include: v. The removal of (2) portable classroom buildings, one MPR building, (11) temporary portable classroom buildings, and (1) portable restroom building. vi. Modernization of (1) classroom building, (1) library building, and (1)administration building. vii. New construction of (1) 2-story classroom building, (1) administration building, (1) MPR building, and (1) solar array on lunch shelter. viii. Site work including (2) kindergarten playgrounds, hardcourts, landscaping, parking lot, and Joint-Use Field CSLB License Required: B 1. GMP 1 Phase 1-1: Demolish field / backstop, build temporary Kinder play area, New asphalt play area. Build 2 new play structures and hardcourts. Build (11) temporary portable classroom buildings and 1 portable restroom building. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy prior to the following phase. 2. GMP 1 Phase 1-2: Demolish (8) portable classroom buildings, demolish 1 classroom building, demolish 1 lunch shelter, demolish 1 playground, build new parking lot and retaining wall at slope repair, build new kitchen building and new lunch shelter. Install kitchen equipment due to long lead times. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy prior to the following phase. 3. GMP 2 Phase 2-1: Demolish (2) portable classroom buildings and hardscape. Build new administration building, new 2 story classroom building, (2) new playgrounds, new hardcourts and new landscaping modernize Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy prior to the following phase. 4. GMP 2 Phase 2-2: Modernize 1 library building. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase. 5. GMP 2 Phase 2-3: Modernize Classroom building, renovate hardscape, move classrooms to temporary portables. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy prior to the following phase. 6. GMP 2 Phase 2-4: Modernize administration building and MPR. Renovate Hardscape. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy at time of Substantial Completion of the Work. 7. GMP 2 Phase 2-5: Renovate South Parking Lot. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy at time of Substantial Completion of the Work. 8. GMP 2 Phase 2-6: : Remove (11) portable classroom buildings, build Joint-Use Field. Work of this phase shall commence after substantial completion of the previous phase and be substantially complete and ready for occupancy at time of Substantial Completion of the Work.
