P Collierville Schools will receive bids for an Asbestos Abatement and Building Demolition of 232/234 College Street, Collierville, Tennessee 38017. General Terms and Conditions, Specifications, Scope of Work and Project Design are contained in this bid. There will be a public opening of this bid no later than 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, September 9, 2024. All bidders will meet in the lobby of Collierville Schools Administration, 215 West Poplar Avenue, Collierville, Tennessee, 38017 prior to 10:00 A.M., Central Time, Monday, September 9, 2024 and move to the Conference Room for the bid opening. Scope of Work Perform asbestos abatement in accordance with the project specifications and abatement design. Demolish an estimated 1,500 ft duplex and associated shrubs, trees, fencing, outbuildings. Remove and dispose of all materials and debris and make necessary ground repairs. The contractor shall apply for any necessary permits. Asbestos Abatement All asbestos abatement must be performed in accordance with the abatement design documents provided by BH&M Environmental and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The contractor shall submit notifications as required by the Shelby County Health Department. A close-out package with necessary work records and waste manifest must be submitted following the work. The abatement design document provides details regarding the type, quantity, and location of all materials to be abated. The owner will provide 3 rd party project monitoring. Addendum #1 has been issued as of 9-5-2024.
