The Building Is 7,900 Sf. Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 3:00 PM ET Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing via via City's e-Procurement Portal's Question & Answer feature. Project Summary and Scope of Work shall include but not be limited to: 1. Demolition of selective building elements to include the second level structure, roofing, roof structures and parapets as indicated, ceiling grids, skylights, windows, doors, miscellaneous piping, temporary security barriers, and related appurtenances. Selective trenching, coring or saw cutting related to installation of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire protection work. Abatement of lead-based paint and paint containing polychlorinated biphenyl on the windows is part of this project. 2. Exterior renovation of the structure to include restoration of the exterior brick and cast stone trim and copings; providing a new asphalt shingle and EPDM roofing; replacement of existing metal eave and soffit; replacement of windows, doors and skylights. 3. The interior renovation includes the construction of classrooms for art, music, exercise, dance, limited gymnasium, along with associated toilet and support spaces. The building wall perimeter and roofs will be insulated to meet current codes. 4. Installation of new plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, fire alarm systems; and infrastructure and cabling as noted on drawings for security and communication, which will be procured separately. 5. The schedule for Substantial Completion of the work is July 1, 2025. 6. Photographic documentation of existing conditions and new work
