for furnishing all labor, material, equipment and other things necessary for the complete construction of: Project No./Project Name: B2752 / Busbee Drive / George Busbee Parkway Transit ADA Improvements Project includes updating ADA ramps, installation of curb and gutter, and sidewalk panels along Busbee Drive and a portion of George Busbee Parkway near Kennesaw State University and Town Center Transfer Station to address compliance with ADA standards. Project Duration: The time allowed for performance of the project will be 90 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. This project is partially funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and local funds. Accordingly, the successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable FTA, Federal and State rules and regulations, as well as those of Cobb County. Contractor shall at all times comply with all applicable FTA regulations, policies, procedures and directives, including without limitation those listed directly or by reference in the Master Agreement, as they may be amended or promulgated from time to time during the term of this contract. The project must also conform to all American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. All bidders submitting bids in excess of $2,000,000.00 must be prequalified with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). All bidders submitting bids of $2,000,000.00 or less shall be registered subcontractors or prequalified with GDOT. Subcontractors must be prequalified or registered with GDOT. This contract is subject to the requirements of Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 26, Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs. The Cobb County Department of Transportation overall goal for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) participation in USDOT assisted projects of 7%. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject all Bids and waive any formalities.
